Abstract
In proposed project we will collect samples of the representative hop varieties and produce the essential oils. The essential oils will be analysed by gas chromatography (GC), onedimensional (1D) 1H nad 13C NMR and IR spectroscopy. Areas under the individual peak in chromatograms and intensities of signals in NMR and IR spectra will served as an input parameters for chemometric calculations to find the most responsible biomarkers of different hop varieties. On the base of those parameters and with the use of different chemometric methods models for the prediction or grouping of hop samples regarding the varieties will be constructed. With the use of coupled GC-MS/MS we will identified the most responsible biomarkers for hop varieties and resistance of plants to some pests.
