Abstract
Aromatic substances are an important quality parameter of particular grapevine varieties. Aromatic composition of new clones of the Slovene local varieties ''Ranina'', ''Šipon'' and ''Pinela'' is not known but it represents vital analytical data for the standarisation of technological procedures of the vinification of their grapes. This project will also be used for the verification of the degree of implementation of the selection goals that were set for the new selected clones, for the finding out of their technological value and for the determination of ampelotechnical procedures which will ensure the top quality of wine in the Slovene growth conditions. Direct application of the project results will be the complete technological classification of the new clones and making of practical instructions for growers in order to be able to rich economically and qualitatively optimal grape yields.
