Abstract
Composting of organic wastes will be performed in the case of municipality Ptuj. The process optimum for the most interesting composting mixtures will be defined by bioreactor experiments. The effect of mass inoculum of aerobic thermopiles on compost hygienization, deodorization, N losses and process kinetic will be studied. The same factors will be investigated in real dimensions composting plant. The project will result in the guidelines for hygienic and odorless composting. Successful implementation of mass inoculation would represent technological innovation.
